Welcome to Lifeneeds.org
The purpose of this site is simply to connect those with needs to the people/institutions that can help meet those needs.
This website will serve the community in Newberg, OR and Dundee, OR. The goal is to provide a simple way to post up a
need(food, furniture, clothing, transportation, etc) and a simple way for people to post what they have that they would be willing
to donate(goods as well as time). It will also include a community calendar that will list the different reoccurring
events (free meals, clothing giveaways, etc) that happen throughout the community. Individually we cannot meet all the needs that we see.
Non-profit organizations can meet many of those needs but they need to know who needs their help. By posting up the needs that you
see in your daily life you take part in meeting the need and making a difference in that individual's life. So if your neighbor loses
his job, their car breaks down or your elderly neighbors need a ride to their doctor appointments please post it so the community
can help them. And if you have a need please post that as well. This website is focused on posting the needs of others because we all know
it can be hard to ask for help for ourselves, but please do not hesitate to ask for help with your own needs.
This website will be under construction for some time. I hope to have a working version up by early March 2012 followed by many upgrades over the next several months.
